Snapcase is playing a reunion show this month in Brooklyn and as I rediscover their music, I realize that these lyrics are still as relevant today as they were when I was 15. As I grew older, I found similar thoughts and ideas of self-realization expressed through Eastern Philosophy. Rather than an external force promising me salvation, such as Jesus, I feel that my own internal will is just as powerful. The answer lies within.
